Construction

Each pot holder consists of six triangles knitted together to form a hexagon.

All triangles are knit in stockinette stitch and knitted together as you go – no sewing required. Stitches are picked up along the edges, and the last triangle is knitted directly together with the cast-on stitches from the first triangle.

The pot holders are finished with an edge (either in stockinette stitch or iCord) and a practical strap, which can be knitted or attached as desired.

The name

The name Hexa Pot Holders refers to their shape – the six triangles together form a hexagon.
