Description
Construction
Hexa Skirt is modular knitted and made up of triangles that form two hexagons – the starting point for the entire skirt.
The stitches are picked up along the way, and the modules are knitted directly together – without any sewing. First, the triangles are knitted, which form the two hexagons for the front and back. From here, the rest of the skirt is knitted: sides, bottom edge and waistband with drawstring for the elastic. Only a single seam is sewn – for the elastic at the waist.
The name
The name Hexa refers to the six triangles that together form a hexagon in the middle – the characteristic start and shape of the design.
The design is both technical and creative: It combines modular knitting, color play and classic fit into one fun and challenging knitting experience.
