Description
Workshop on modular knitting – knit triangles
In this workshop, I will introduce my work with triangles as a basic shape in modular knitting.
We’ll go over the techniques I use in my patterns—including the provisional cast-on, picking up stitches, decreases, and i-cord edging.
You will be given worksheets/instructions that we will use as we go along.
We start by knitting one triangle and then continue with five more—the first and last are knitted together so that they form a hexagon.
Please bring
Yarn: 2 skeins of approx. 25 grams each—preferably wool in 2 different colors (one of which may be a gradient), knitting needles that match the yarn, a crochet hook (if needed), a small scrap of cotton yarn in a contrasting color, and 2 stitch markers.
You can pre-order yarn kits for my patterns, which I will bring to the workshop. A 10% discount is offered on purchases of patterns and pre-ordered yarn kits.
