Yarn selection
The pattern is designed for fingering weight cotton yarn with color changes – e.g. yarn with approx. 240 m / 262 yds per 100 g (3.5 oz).
The model in the pictures is knitted in cotton, but the pattern can also be knitted in wool or blended yarn.
Feel free to choose yarn with color gradients or use leftovers in your own colors. The most important thing is that the knitting tension is correct.

Description
Construction
Hexa Summer is knitted in modules – triangle by triangle – in stockinette stitch and without sewing.
The pattern begins in the middle of the back, where six triangles form a hexagon. From there, the blouse or top is built up, module by module: front, back, sides, sleeves, and finish.
Stitches are picked up along the way, and all parts are knitted together directly. The work is finished with a loose cast-off in stockinette stitch.
The name
The name Hexa refers to the hexagon formed in the middle of the back by six triangles – a distinctive design feature that forms the basis of the model.
The design is well suited for color-changing yarn or colorful leftover yarn and invites you to play with colors and personalize your project.
