Description

Construction
Hexa Winter Cardi is worked in modules - triangle by triangle - in garter stitch and without seaming.
The design begins in the middle of the back, where six triangles form a hexagon. From here the cardigan is built up module by module: fronts, shoulders, sleeves and edges. Stitches are picked up along the way and all parts are knitted directly together.
It can be worked short or long, with long sleeves or as a vest with short sleeves.
The front edges are integrated and can be finished with buttons or zippers.

The name
The name Hexa refers to the hexagon formed in the middle of the backs of six triangles - a characteristic construction that forms the basis of the model. The name Hexa Winter Cardi also refers to the thickness of the yarn and the large needle size, which creates a full and warm cardigan.
It is also suitable as a leftover project and can be knitted with several thinner yarns held together - allowing for personal color combinations and flexible use of leftover yarn.
