This yarn kit has been put together for the pattern Shawl in Coloursand contains two different qualities in approximately 33 different colours/shades:
Baby Alpaca from BC Garn – 100% baby alpaca (knitted with 2 strands)
2-ply mohair from Mohair by Canard – 67% mohair / 33% wool (knitted with 1 strand)

Recommended gauge in the pattern:
Garter stitch (garter ridges): 22 stitches = 10 cm (4 in)
Needle size 3.5 mm (US 4) – or the size that gives the correct gauge

Finished measurements of the shawl:Length from tip to tip: 230 cm – 90.6 in Width at center: 38 cm – 15 in

Washing instructions:Hand wash recommended – dry flat

Description

This yarn kit has been put together for the pattern Shawl in Colours, where two different qualities – soft baby alpaca and airy mohair – are used in combination to create a vibrant and colourful look.

Approximately half of the shawl's triangles are knitted using 2 strands of baby alpaca, while the other half, as well as the wide stripes on the left side and the iCord edge, are knitted using 1 strand of mohair. The yarn kit consists of approximately 33 different colours distributed across the two qualities.
